The event will showcase over 40 beers from more than 20 of the best breweries serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Admission to the festival is free. Purchase of a commemorative festival tasting mug is required for sampling.Last call is 6:00.

Over 30 great bands will be performing. The event has raised well over $600,000 for it's beneficiaries.

That's the perfect formula for a great festival, and it's the formula organizers of the annual St. Mary's County Oyster adopted 33 years ago when they took on the task of creating the first festival. Each year's festival is held on the third Saturday and Sunday in October at the County Fairgrounds on Route 5 near Leonardtown, Maryland.
