Calleva "open house" to highlight their Summer Camps for children ages 6 to 16, Outdoor Adventure Programs for schools and businesses, and weekend kayaking classes and rafting trips - Saturday, May 10th from 11am to 3pm. Free!

Come out and see all the great adventures we offer from our office in the historic "West House" at the intersection of Seneca Creek and the Potomac River. Climb our 30 foot climbing wall, ride a horse, bike the C & O Canal, try canoeing and kayaking on Seneca Creek, and pick up brochures for all our programs. Wine Tasting & Auction Event for Demining Efforts in Cambodia 6771
The Wine Tasting & Auction Event will include Cambodian delicacies, ample hors d’oeuvres, and will feature Classical Cambodian Dancers. The funds donated through the cost of admission, wine tasting and auction will go towards The Halo Trust’s Foundation Coalition Project 3 to raise much needed funds to remove landmines from 3 villages in the Northwest Region of Cambodia along the K-5 Mine Belt.

President Lincoln's Cottage - Grand Opening 6534
On February 19, 2008, President Lincoln’s Cottage at the Soldiers’ Home opens to the public for the first time, giving Americans an intimate, never-before-seen view of Abraham Lincoln’s presidency and family life. Designated a National Monument by President Clinton in 2000, President Lincoln’s Cottage served as Lincoln’s family residence for a quarter of his presidency and is the most significant historic site directly associated with Lincoln’s presidency aside from the White House.
