Canal Stewards Cleanup |

Help the Conservancy clean up and beautify the land and water surrounding Lock 8, and along miles 8 and 9 of the C&O Canal towpath. This monthly cleanup day engages volunteers in a long-term relationship with the C&O Canal National Historical Park. Cleanup activities include picking up trash, pruning vegetation along trails, and repairing the towpath and trails. Wear clothes that can get dirty- we'll provide all the necessary tools and equipment. |
