MHF is in its 18th year and was rated as one of the top 13 Halloween attractions in the U.S. last year by AOL City Guide. In 2006, The Markoff's Haunted Forest was featured on the front page of the Washington Post.

Last year, we had approximately 20,000 adults and children from Metropolitan Washington walk down our scary forest trail and try our many activities in the staging area, the "circle."

As you know, we are Calleva and The Markoff's Haunted Forest is a fund raiser for our camp. We are a non-profit camp with an office in Poolesville, Maryland and our farm in Dickerson, MD.

We give youth scholarships to our camp and bring youth in the Phoenix School (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) to our camp for high adventure/esteem building activities.
