The ASO’s Season Finale: Bach, Piazzolla, and Brahms 20754
Nicholas Hersh, guest conductor
Tickets: $20-$80 adult, $5 youth, $10 student

Three centuries collide when the ASO and Maestro Nicholas Hersh present the season finale. The program features C.P.E. Bach’s “Berlin” Symphony in E-Flat Major followed by Piazzolla’s Tangazo: Variations on Buenos Aires. Rounding out the program is Brahms’ Romantic, melancholy and pastoral Symphony No. 2.

Garden Party 20782
Celebrate the arrival of spring at the National Postal Museum’s Garden Party! Special guests from Smithsonian Gardens, Smithsonian Libraries, and several local garden clubs will be on hand to share their love and knowledge of the greater Washington area’s native plant life. Learn the traditional language of flowers, design your own stamp and start a topical stamp collection, plant a mini garden to take home, and enjoy light refreshments! 11am-4pm both days.

The Wizard School Scavenger Hunt for Harry Potter Fans 20763
Young wizards will enjoy a trip to the National Gallery, in search of art that echoes characters and enchanted objects in the Harry Potter books. You'll track down serpents, Dumbledore look-alikes, and figures as scary as any Death Eater. This hunt references the books to provide a bridge to many wonderful works of art. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, but all-adult teams can compete separately. Advance purchase required.
