CALLEVA OUTDOORS is run by Nick, Alex And Matt Markoff. For decades we have been involved in the camping business. In 1956 our Grandparents started Valley Mill Camp for Girls in Silver Spring, in 1972 our parents helped to start the well known Valley Mill West Camp, and in 1978 created Valley Mill Away, a sailing camp on the Choptank river.

Maryland Madness, Inc. is a 1998 incorporated not-for-profit Maryland corporation with IRS designation as a 501 ( c) (3). Contributions (but not fees for which value is received) to a 501 (c) (3) corporation such as Maryland Madness are tax deductible. Maryland Madness, is run exclusively by volunteers from its Board Members to its coaches. Maryland Madness runs year round basketball programming for boys and girls, age 8 -17. Highly select teams operate in Amateur Athletic Union, Youth Basketball of America and select regional tournaments. Our teams also play in summer leagues and in select winter leagues (Beltway, Rising Star).
