Miss. Ginger Louisa Griffin of Lanham, Maryland charmed the audience by
singing the National Anthem to commence the Lantern Reception.
"I think this festival is wonderful way for people of different
backgrounds to meet and recognize the many things we have in common. The
cherry blossoms are a miraculous part of God’s creation. I am just
grateful to see them and participate today."
