Hirshorn Location: 7th Street SW Washington, DC 20560. Hours: daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except December 25. The Sculpture Garden is open from 7:30 a.m. until dusk. A beautifully designed circular building with a fountain of concentric circles, the Hirshorn is based upon the extensive 11,000-piece modern art collection of Joseph Hirshhorn. The collection includes art by Picasso, Matisse, Warhol, O'Keefe and Rodin. A sculpture garden outside compliments the museum.
