Alternative Broadcasting
Alternative Broadcasting is a non-profit organization developed out of Arlington, VA to provide the DC area with a modern diverse rock radio station. With an intent to make it to the FM radio airwaves in a couple years, Alternative Broadcasting's intent is to offer cutting-edge modern rock programming to an area whose musical needs are currently being neglected by radio, as well as enhance the music scene by incorporating music of local bands. Alternative Broadcasting's Board of Directors is committed to providing the Northern Virginia and DC community with a contemporary music radio station suited to the needs and lifestyle of the area's large and varied music-loving population. Still young, Alternative Broadcasting is budding with the support of its loyal listeners through donations, feedback, and enthusiasm. It promises to give listeners more of what they want and less of what they hear much too often.
