A Capitol Fourth - The Concert

A Capitol Fourth 2005 will be broadcast live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Monday, July 4, 2005 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. ET (check local listings). The special 25th anniversary show, features host and acclaimed actor Barry Bostwick, renowned singer Ronan Tynan, legendary soul group The O'Jays, and other outstanding musical artists in performance with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Erich Kunzel. The nation's premier Independence Day event will dazzle with a wonderful evening of musical entertainment topped by a stunning display of fireworks over the Washington monument.
