Before it was cut into hundreds of smaller gems(most found on the British Crown Jewels) it weighed more than 4000 carats. Recently in the same mine a diamond of almost 500 carats was found. This diamond, however, has an especially high level of clarity and clearness. It is valued at over 15 million dollars.
