Lincoln Memorial - Royal Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle relief on the upper attic is somewhat atypical from the traditional National symbol.

Seen here perched, without the traditional olive branches of peace clutched in one claw, and a bundle of arrows of war in the other, like The Great Seal of The United States Of America.
