Nathanial Hawthorne

Nathanial Hawthorne was an American short story writer and novelist. Although he was born Nathanial "Hathorne" he changed his name to "Hawthorne" as he decided the extra "W" would dissociate him from family members whom participated in the Salem Witch Trial proceedings.
