One Bad Ass Merc

Oh, you know it is! These cars are very stable at high speeds. My friend found his on blocks one morning in front of his house in Bethesda. The replacement 20" wheels and tires cost $3,600!

Ultra-rare factory HURST 4-SPEED special edition 1965 Plymouth Barracuda 273 Commando. This one doesn't have the Formula-S option package. The hood scoop and headlight ornaments are not original.

NOT RARE

ALL 64 AND 65 4SPD CARS ARE HURST. I HAVE A 64 1/2 WITH THE 273 AND 4SPD. NUMBER 138 OFF THE LINE. FIRST 400 HAD A "V" BADGE BELOW THE TRUNK. THEY ARE THE RARE ONES. ALSO ONLY 23 "S" BARRACUDAS FOR 64 AND ONLY 3 WITH PUSH BUTTON AUTOS.
WORKED ON LINE MAKING THESE CARS

Custom Color

As far as the exact paint code, I don't think it exists because the flames are custom.
Try Sikkins, PPG or Dupont.
Good Luck!

RE: what color is this

Purple or plum metallic looks like. You might want to look on the websites of Sikkins and House of Kolor.
