Arriving in a blaze of thunder and lightning, the Nor'easter of 2006 transformed our nation's capital into a large white-blanketed playground that was a magical experience for the young and young of heart. Take a tour with Denali and Frosty to learn the secrets of snowman building and having wintry fun on our National Mall.

Danali met some cross country skiers. "Excuse me. Does any of you know where I can find a person name frosty? I am on special assignment from DCpages." The skiers contemplated for a bit and agreed that the Washington Monument was the best place to go.

"Excuse me. Do any of you know where I can find Frosty?" The Canucks seemed rather startled at Denali and flew off yapping something about going back North. A white ball off in the distance caught Denali's eyes. "What is that big white shiny thing behind the tree" she pondered?

Several skiers noticed a large white mass coming Denali's way. "Only in Washington can something like this happen. "Don't tell your mother son. She will rush you to bed before you can say Frosty."

A large white snowman slid down toward Denali. "I heard you were looking for Frosty, said the snowman. Well here I am." The young dog could not believe her eyes. "If you would like to interview the rest of my family, we will have to hurry for they will not be here for long." Denali followed Frosty in the snow.

Frosty introduced Denali to a snowgirl from Mount Kilimanjaro. "Hi Denali. My name is Wangari Kenyatta. Isn't this just a wonderful day," the happy snowgirl exclaimed. Denali agreed.
